APAP|NYC 2025: The Future of the Performing Arts Funding

About the event:

Held on January 12, 2025: This session took place at the annual APAP|NYC conference in New York City, presented by the Association of Performing Arts Professionals.

This session highlights findings from a recent national funder convening to take stock of the landscape of performing arts funding and the state of the field and consider the future. It includes a funder roundtable conversation to encourage transparency about funding practices, priorities, and implications for the field. See the convening report here. Representatives from Doris Duke Foundation, Ford Foundation, Mellon Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and Wallace Foundation will join the conversation.

The Association of Performing Arts Professionals is the national service, advocacy and membership organization for the live performing arts field. APAP is dedicated to developing and supporting a robust performing arts presenting, booking and touring industry and the professionals who work within it.
