Clarissa Soto Josephs is a nonprofit arts leader, business strategist, financial consultant, executive coach, and entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience helping artists and organizations build stronger, more sustainable businesses.

In 2025, Clarissa founded CSJ Strategy Solutions LLC, where she serves as Owner and Principal. Through CSJ, she provides business strategy, operations, and finance consulting to arts and nonprofit organizations. Her work includes strategic planning, financial management, governance, organizational infrastructure, revenue strategy, and executive coaching.. Across every engagement, Clarissa brings a strong financial lens, helping organizations align their mission, operations, and resources for long-term sustainability.

Prior to launching CSJ Strategy Solutions, Clarissa spent more than 12 years at Pentacle, a national management-support organization serving the performing arts. She worked across fiscal services, education, and programming before becoming Pentacle’s first BIPOC woman and first non-founder to serve as Executive Director. Clarissa also served as a Senior Finance Consultant with Arts FMS, providing financial management and strategic support to arts organizations nationwide.

Clarissa holds an MBA from Quinnipiac University, a BA in Dance, and a BBA in Entrepreneurship with a concentration in Legal Studies from Hofstra University. In 2016, she was recognized as one of the New York Hispanic Coalition’s “40 Under 40 Rising Stars.”
