Survey Deadline Extended!

October 3, 2026

We are extending the 2026 National Arts Service Organizations Survey deadline to November 9, 2026 at 11:59pm HST. We heard you and know there's a lot going on: conference season, fall season premieres, and the last push before the end of the year. In an effort to collect the most comprehensive set of responses from across the country and obtain a sample that is representative of all regions equally, we have decided to extend the deadline. We've also added additional Survey Taking Parties on October 7, 14, and 28 from 3-4pm ET.

We urge those that haven't completed it to carve out 30 minutes of your time to take the survey. To facilitate this process, we encourage you to download a Google Doc version of the survey at consultingadc.com/surveycopy and work collaboratively with your team to submit it. For additional support, please read the FAQs, attend a Survey Taking Party, or email research@consultingadc.com with any questions.

For those of you who have already submitted it, THANK YOU. Please help us share it with other ASOs in your orbit using our Marketing Toolkit!

SURVEY PARTNER SPOTLIGHT

This week we are spotlighting Arts Midwest and Springboard for the Arts. Our Survey Partners help make this research a reality and ensure that the 2026 National ASO Survey captures a richer, more representative picture of the sector.

Arts Midwest is a U.S. Regional Arts Organization (USRAO) that amplifies Midwestern creativity, building community and opportunity across the region and beyond. They serve Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, the Native Nations that share this geography, and beyond.

Springboard for the Arts supports artists with the tools to make a living and a life, and to build just and equitable communities full of meaning, joy, and connection. Their vision is of a world where artists are essential; local economies are vibrant and just; and the systems that surround us are human centered.

THE NEXT SURVEY TAKING PARTY: OCTOBER 7

This week, we're highlighting the vital work of arts service organizations across the Midwest and the role they play in strengthening their communities and the broader arts ecosystem. Survey Taking Parties are 60-minute virtual Zoom sessions designed as informal, drop-in office hours. Organizations can complete their surveys in real time with live help from the ADC Consulting team.

If your organization is based in the Midwest, we'd encourage you to attend this party as a way to connect with others near you.

Date & Time: Wednesday, October 7, 2026, 3:00 – 4:00pm EST

Registration: Free & required.

ENTER THE RAFFLE

Submit your survey and you'll be automatically entered in the ASO Survey Raffle for a chance to win free consulting services! Score a bonus entry when you join a Survey Taking Party. The earlier your organization submits your survey, the more chances you'll have to win.

At our next party we’ll be raffling off:

  • Organizational IT Introductory Session with Anoush d'Orville of Advisory Solutions

    • Advisory Solutions is offering a 60-minute organizational IT introductory session for growing non-profits. Note that this session will cover broader areas of organizational IT, and will not cover fundraising tools or grant management.

  • Grant Readiness Review with Vicki Capote of Capote Consulting

    • A review of a draft grant narrative or LOI (up to five pages) that includes returned, marked-up feedback plus a scoring rubric highlighting the document's top three priority areas of improvement.
