Welcome to the ADC Consulting Newsletter!

I am thrilled to share with you what I’ve been up to and to introduce you to the incredible group of people and entities I have the pleasure of working with every day. All across the country, artists, culture bearers, arts workers, and organizations are making meaningful art, building community, and ensuring that our cultural and artistic legacies are strengthened. Once a quarter, we will highlight these trailblazing arts workers and entities, share more about ADC Consulting’s work, and connect you to resources and ways to get involved. In this issue, you’ll get a chance to learn more about the heart and soul of ADC Consulting and our incredible team. Thank you for coming along for the ride!

Alejandra

We support clients with strategy, execution, or a mixture of both typically engaging between 4-6 clients at a time. We also lead independent projects and offer packages for consultancy on retainer. Our services span across the following areas of expertise:

Organizational Management: We help you streamline your operations while supporting your workforce and aligning with your mission. Services include: strategic planning, organizational audits, nonprofit management, governance, operations & HR strategy, compensation analysis, and culture change & DEIA.

Research: While research is embedded into almost everything we do, it’s also one of our most sought after stand alone services. Services include: study design & execution, research project management, advisory support, and assessment of existing data.

Project Management & Programming: With extensive experience in stage and production management, the ADC Consulting team is adept at seamlessly coordinating and managing all the moving pieces of fixed term projects. Services include: general project management; program design & development; corporate meetings & conferences; and in-person and/or virtual events.

Grantmaking: We have deep expertise creating and evaluating successful grant programs that serve both individual artists and entities. Past grants supported artistic creation, crisis response, venue acquisition, and specific artist demographics. Services include: overall grantmaking strategy, program & application design, panel development & execution, and impact assessment.

Advocacy & Cultural Policy: Our advocacy and cultural policy work is targeted towards organizations or groups seeking to address community issues by organizing people to take collective action. We help define the issue, lay out an action plan, and offer a clearer understanding of the landscape through access to insights from policy experts across the nation. Services include: campaign, dissemination & calls to action; policy strategy; and advocacy networks access.

What We Believe

ADC Consulting acknowledges the role that white supremacy and systems of oppression play in the problems we aim to solve—providing tools to identify those roots and creating solutions that move our clients towards justice in their work and outcomes. Our work is rooted in six core values: transparency, action, collaboration, interdependence, generosity, and justice.

We also lead independent projects, publish studies, and speak in conferences and across multiple platforms.

Meet the Team

Our work is collaborative. We are a predominantly BIPOC, immigrant, femme team of artists, researchers, strategists, producers, and administrators with a combined 50+ years of experience working in arts and culture.
