Augustine Jimenez was born in Los Angeles, grew up in Mexico, and has lived in Atlanta since the age of 7. In 2016, he was awarded the Posse Foundation Full-Tuition Leadership Scholarship to Boston University. In college, he was selected as a BU Initiative on Cities Menino Fellow, a Critical Language Scholarship recipient, and as a Harry S. Truman Scholar. He graduated from BU in 2020 and has worked as a paralegal and as a Program Associate at Achieve Atlanta, the largest need-based scholarship in the Southeast. Augustine's experience as an infantry U.S. Marine has also honed his expertise in interpersonal relations, attention to detail and mission-driven mindset.
