As the CEO at Fractured Atlas, Theresa Hubbard dreams of a world where artists can enjoy economic freedom through robust fiscal sponsorships, allowing boundless creativity that inspires current and future generations. Since joining the Fractured Atlas team in February 2011, Theresa has led the organization in supporting more than 15,000 artists and arts organizations in successfully raising more than $250M for their creative projects. After becoming CEO in 2021, Theresa has spearheaded a new approach to the organization’s staffing model and continued their tradition for advancing human-centered practices through developing a culture of care in the organization. An expert in fiscal sponsorship, Theresa is a sought-after presenter at conferences and festivals around the United States. She serves on the steering committee of the National Network of Fiscal Sponsors, through which she works to build community and educational opportunities within the sector.

In 2016, she earned a Certificate in Arts and Culture Strategy through a partnership between National Arts Strategies and the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice. She also holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance from Syracuse University and stays active in the New York choral community by serving on the board of the New York Choral Consortium and by singing with The Oratorio Society of New York. Outside of work, if Theresa isn’t singing, she can usually be found experimenting with new chocolate chip cookie recipes, watching horror movies, and spending time with her senior dog, Sammy.
